Finch, who has played 145 ODIs for Australia, has had a terrible year in 50-over cricket, scoring just 26 runs in his past seven innings.
Finch stated, "It has been a terrific ride with some incredible memories," in a statement to the media from Cricket Australia.
"I have been blessed by all those I have played with and the many individuals behind the scenes. I have also been tremendously lucky to be a member of some fantastic one-day sides," he continued.
